San Jose, CA (October 31, 2020) – A man was severely beaten in a brutal attack at a FoodMaxx grocery store. The incident occurred on the evening of October 31 on Parkmoor Avenue.
Jaime Plancarte, 37, was in the FoodMaxx parking lot retrieving shopping carts was assaulted by a man. He was injured so bad that he suffered facial fractures and a traumatic brain injury. He was unrecognizable, as his face and mouth were bruised and swollen. He was in a coma for days and was thought to be brain dead. He currently cannot walk, talk or eat on his own.
There is not a lot of information about the suspect. He is a man in his 20s who was with three women at the time. They were in a silver four-door car with a sunroof, tinted rear windows and a dent by the gas tank.
