3 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Tranquility Accident

Tranquility, CA (November 6, 2019) – Two people were killed and two others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Tranquility. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of November 6 at Colorado Road and West Sumner Avenue.

A Honda traveling on Colorado Road failed to brake and collided with a Mercedes. The impact caused the Mercedes to hit a pickup truck. The Mercedes then caught fire. 

Two passengers in the Mercedes, identified as Janie Flocchini and Nick Flocchini, were killed in the crash. Two people inside the pickup truck, the 38-year-old driver and a 1-year-old child, were hospitalized with moderate injuries. The driver of the Honda, identified as Silvia Gonzales, 42, was arrested for DUI.
