Lexus Rear-Ends Semi Truck in Fatal Pleasanton Accident

Pleasanton, CA (April 17, 2020) – Two people were killed in a crash in Pleasanton. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of April 17 on Interstate 680.

A Lexus sedan was speeding on southbound Interstate 680, near Bernal Avenue, when it rear-ended a semi-truck. Jeremi Hanks, 22, of Oakland, and one other person inside the Lexus were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the vehicle. Both died at the accident scene. The truck driver was not injured.
