Shandon, CA (August 28, 2019) – Two people suffered serious injuries in a head-on crash in Shandon. The accident occurred on the morning of August 28 on Highway 46.

Joey McGraw, Jr., 29, of San Bernardino, was heading west on Highway 46, near Antelope Road and attempted to pass a semi truck. McGraw, however, could not successfully pass the truck. He attempted to get back into his lane, but lost control of his Acura. He collided head-on with a Toyota Sienna driven by Pebble Beach resident Michael Klassen, 67.

The Toyota Sienna went over the side of the highway, while the Acura came to rest in the eastbound lane of the highway. Both drivers were hospitalized with possible fractures.
