Oakdale, CA (February 10, 2020) – A pedestrian was killed in a DUI crash in Oakdale. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of February 10 on Highway 120.

John Hughes, 61, of Newman, was walking along Highway 120 when he was hit by a Chevrolet pickup driven by Matthew Keith, 28. Keith kept on driving for several more hours. He was later arrested for hit and run and DUI. Hughes was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

New York Child Victims Act Extended By One Year

you can file an anonymous sex trafficking lawsuit for compensation New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill into law on Monday which will extend the Child Victims Act by a year. Child sex abuse survivors, including survivors of abuse at the hands of Boy Scouts of America or Catholic clergy, will now have until August 14, 2021 to file claims in New York. The signing allows survivors of all ages to file claims against their alleged abusers which would have previously been barred by time.
