Jonathan Navarro Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on 110 Freeway Near Wilshire Boulevard

16-Year-Old Dies in Fatal Los Angeles Accident

Los Angeles, CA (April 5, 2020) – A teen was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Los Angeles. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of April 5 on the 110 Freeway.

The chain reaction crash happened on southbound 110 Freeway, near Wilshire Boulevard. A Ford Edge driven by an 18-year-old man lost control and crashed into a concrete wall. The Ford Edge then hit a Hyundai Azera. A Nissan Quest and a Nissan Versa were also involved in the accident. 

Jonathan Navarro, 16, of North Hollywood, was a passenger in the Edge. He died in the accident. The male driver of the Versa, the male driver of the Edge and an 18-year-old female passenger in the Edge suffered minor injuries.

FDA Issues Warnings To Two Manufacturers Of Breast Implants

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) just issued warning letters to two manufacturers of breast implants for failing to comply with regulatory requirements. The FDA sent a warning letter to Allergan for failure to comply with requirements to conduct post-approval studies assessing the risks and long-term safety of two separate breast implant models. Both breast implant models were voluntarily recalled last year. The FDA also sent a warning letter to Ideal Implant Incorporated. That letter was sent for failing to comply with adverse event reporting requirements and current good manufacturing practice requirements. The letter was prompted by an inspection which was conducted earlier in 2020.
