Motorcycle, Big Rig Collide in Fatal Ripon Accident

Ripon, CA (July 22, 2020) – A man was killed in a motorcycle crash in Ripon. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of July 22 on Highway 99.

A Kawasaki motorcycle was traveling on northbound Highway 99, near Main Street. The rider lost control and the motorcycle fell. It then slid into the trailer of a Freightliner big rig. The motorcyclist – identified as Jonathan Williams, 20, from Ripon – became tangled in the axles of the big rig and was run over. He died at the accident scene. The driver of the big rig, a 63-year-old Manteca resident, was not injured.

New York Child Victims Act Extended By One Year

you can file an anonymous sex trafficking lawsuit for compensation New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed a bill into law on Monday which will extend the Child Victims Act by a year. Child sex abuse survivors, including survivors of abuse at the hands of Boy Scouts of America or Catholic clergy, will now have until August 14, 2021 to file claims in New York. The signing allows survivors of all ages to file claims against their alleged abusers which would have previously been barred by time.
