Jose Lopez Dies From Coronavirus

Victim Worked at Legacy Packing and Cold Storage in Dinuba

Dinuba, CA (August 5, 2020) – A worker at a fruit packing plant in Dinuba has died from coronavirus. The man died on August 5.

Jose Lopez, 45, of Lindsay, worked at Legacy Packing and Cold Storage for more than 20 years before his death. He is survived by his three children. 

His employer confirmed in May that two employees had contracted COVID-19. Since then, others have tested positive. The company says that all employees have now recovered. There are currently no employees with COVID-19 and all have returned to work.
