Victim Dies in Hit and Run Crash in Fatal Los Angeles Accident

Los Angeles, CA (December 19, 2019) – A man was killed in a pedestrian crash in Los Angeles. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of December 19 at Sunset Boulevard and Douglas Street.

A man, identified as 60-year-old Jose Mario Vaquero, was trying to catch a bus on his way to work. He ran into traffic at the intersection and was hit by a Honda. Vaquero died at the accident scene.

The driver fled the accident scene. The vehicle, described as a dark-colored Honda, was caught on surveillance video. Part of the car’s front bumper was left behind at the accident scene.
