Silverado, CA (May 25, 2019) – A crash in Silverado has killed two teens and injured three others. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of May 25 on Santiago Canyon Road.

For unknown reasons, the Mazda Protege that the five teens were riding in veered off Santiago Canyon Road, near Hicks Haul Road. It went through a barb-wire fence and hit a tree. The driver, 19-year-old Joshua Morales of Santa Ana, died at the accident scene. Colton Mondy, 17, of Garden Grove, later died at a local hospital.

Daniel Clark, 18, of Santa Ana, Luis Hernandez, 19, and Unique Valdez, 18, both of Garden Grove, are all in moderate to critical condition.
