Pickup Truck Hits 2 Men in Fatal Costa Mesa Accident

Costa Mesa, CA (June 23, 2020) – One man was killed and another was injured in a pedestrian crash in Costa Mesa. The fatal accident occurred just before noon on June 23 on Harbor Boulevard.

Juan Martinez Hernandez, 49, and a second man were hit by a pickup truck outside a Home Depot located at 2300 Harbor Boulevard. Hernandez was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. A second man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the pickup truck driver remained at the accident scene.
