2 Vehicles Collide Head-on in Fatal Hollister Accident

Fatal Accident

Hollister, CA (October 30, 2019) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a head-on crash in Hollister. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of October 30 on Highway 152.

The crash happened on Highway 152, near Lovers Lane. A Los Banos man was heading west on Highway 152 in a Toyota Tundra. He was approaching a Toyota Sienna, which was traveling eastbound on Highway 152.

The driver of the Sienna crossed over the double yellow lines and hit the Tundra head-on. The driver of the Sienna, 27-year-old Juan Oliveras of Palo Alto, was killed in the crash.

The driver of the Tundra suffered major injuries. A 23-year-old woman in Oliveras’ car suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to a local hospital.
