Car Goes off Road in Fatal Redding Accident

Redding, CA (November 24, 2019) – Two people were killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Redding. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of November 24 on the Interstate 5 to Highway 44 interchange.

A Dodge Charger was traveling from northbound Interstate 5 to westbound Highway 44 when it ran off the road for unknown reasons. It hit a tree, rolled over and ejected the two people inside. The car became wedged between two trees. The victims, identified as Anderson residents Justin Harley Hoover, 23, and Melissa Anne Saterfield, 28, died at the accident scene.
