Kaylee Perez, Manasseh Marion Killed in Crash 405 Freeway Near Palo Verde Avenue


10 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Long Beach Accident

Long Beach, CA (October 31, 2020) – Two people were killed in a wrong-way crash in Long Beach. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of October 31 on the 405 Freeway.

A Nissan was heading north on the southbound 405 Freeway, near Palo Verde Avenue. The Nissan hit another vehicle head-on. The wrong-way driver, Kaylee Perez, 23, of Los Angeles, and the passenger of the other vehicle, Manasseh Marion, 32, of Long Beach, died at the accident scene. 

Eight other vehicles were involved in the crash, as they could not stop in time. Seven people were injured. Two suffered serious trauma, while five suffered minor injuries. All were taken to local hospitals.
