Lexus Goes Down Ravine in Fatal Los Altos Hills Accident

Los Altos Hills, CA (July 11, 2020) – A man was killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Los Altos Hills. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of July 11 on Interstate 280.

A Lexus sedan was traveling on southbound Highway 280 near El Monte Road. It was speeding when the driver lost control. The Lexus went up an embankment and went down a ravine. The vehicle also overturned multiple times. The driver, Kenneth Smith, 60, from San Jose, died at the accident scene. He was not wearing a seat belt.
