Krystal Mobley, Driver Killed in Crash at McHenry Avenue and Claribel Road

5 Vehicles Involved in Fatal Modesto Accident

Modesto, CA (November 17, 2020) – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Modesto. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of November 17 at McHenry Avenue and Claribel Road.

Modesto residents died in a crash that involved five vehicles on McHenry Avenue and Claribel Road Tuesday night.

A 27-year-old man was driving a Nissan Altima with a passenger, 34-year-old Krystal Mobley, when he ran a red light at the intersection. The Nissan collided with a Lexus SUV driven by Huda Gubary, 46, of Salida. He was hospitalized with major injuries.

The Nissan continued on, while the Lexus went toward three vehicles waiting at a red light. The Lexus hit a Kia sedan, then a Dodge pickup. The Dodge then hit a Toyota sedan in the next lane over. Nobody inside those vehicles were injured.

Mobley died at the accident scene. The driver was ejected from the Nissan. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. Neither were wearing seat belts.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the friends and loved ones of Krystal Mobley and the other victim.
