Luciana Perez Killed in Crash on State Route 184 Near E. Wilson Road


Driver Arrested for DUI in Fatal Bakersfield Accident

Bakersfield, CA (May 25, 2020) – A woman was killed in a DUI crash in Bakersfield. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of May 25 on State Route 184.

A woman walked into the southbound lane of State Route 184, near E. Wilson Road. She walked directly into the path of a Volkswagen Passat traveling south. The driver swerved to avoid the woman, but hit her.

The woman, identified as 32-year-old Lamont resident Luciana Perez, was taken to a local hospital, where she later died. The driver of the Volkswagen was arrested for DUI.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the friends and loved ones of Luciana Perez.
