Malcolm Darensburg Killed in Crash on 29th Street


2 Vehicles Collide Head-on in Fatal Oakland Accident

Oakland, CA (September 30, 2020) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a head-on crash in Oakland. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of September 30 on 29th Street.

An Acura MDX was traveling north on 29th Street, while a Hyundai Accent was going south. The Hyundai then crossed the double-yellow line and the two vehicles collided head-on on the Park Street Bridge.

The driver of the Acura, a 62-year-old woman, and her passenger, an 87-year-old woman, were injured in the crash. Both were taken to a local hospital. They are in stable condition. The driver of the Hyundai, identified as Malcolm Darensburg, 41, of Oakland, was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
