Victim Dies in Fatal Citrus Heights Crash

Citrus Heights, CA (January 18, 2020) – A man was killed after he was involved in a crash and exited his vehicle in Citrus Heights. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of January 18 on Interstate 80.

A three-vehicle crash occurred near the Antelope CHP scales. All three vehicles pulled over onto the right shoulder. One of the drivers, a 47-year-old man from Sacramento, exited his vehicle and walked into traffic. He was initially hit by a Chevrolet Equinox before he was hit by a Toyota FJ Cruiser. The man died from his injuries. All drivers involved remained at the accident scene.
