Man in Wheelchair Injured in Crash at El Cajon Boulevard and West Washington Avenue


Driver Arrested for DUI in El Cajon Accident

El Cajon, CA (August 10, 2020) – A man was injured in a pedestrian crash in El Cajon. The accident occurred on the evening of August 10 at El Cajon Boulevard and West Washington Avenue.

A 69-year-old man was riding his motorized wheelchair across the intersection when he was hit by a car. The man was ejected and thrown onto the road. The man suffered a serious head injury and was taken to a local hospital. The driver remained at the accident scene and was arrested for DUI.
