Vehicle Splits in Half, Catches Fire in Norwalk Accident

Norwalk, CA (December 1, 2019) – A man was injured in a fiery crash in Norwalk. The accident occurred on the evening of December 1 on the 605 Freeway.

A Honda Accord was speeding on the southbound 605 Freeway, near Alondra Boulevard. The driver, a 22-year-old man from Covina, lost control and hit the center divider. The Honda then crashed into a metal pole. The vehicle was split in half. 

The vehicle continued south and hit a wall on the right shoulder. The vehicle then caught fire and the man was ejected. He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
