Man Injured in Intentional Pedestrian Crash on A Street

Ruby Delgadillo Wanted for Causing Antioch Accident

Pedestrian Accident

Antioch, CA (December 3, 2019) – An argument over a haircut led to an intentional pedestrian crash in Antioch, injuring a barber. The accident occurred on the afternoon of December 3 on A Street.

A Toyota Prius hit a pedestrian and continued through the glass storefront next to the Delta Barber Shop, located at 1631 A Street. The victim, a 63-year-old man from Antioch, suffered serious injuries.

It was determined that the crash was an intentional act, as the driver, identified as Ruby Delgadillo, 28, of Brentwood, was upset over a haircut the victim gave her child. Delgadillo got into the Toyota and intentionally hit and pushed him the barber through the glass storefront with her car.

Delgadillo then fled the accident scene with her son. She is wanted on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Police are looking for a blue 2006 Toyota Prius with California license plate 8LHB387.

FDA Issues Warnings To Two Manufacturers Of Breast Implants

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) just issued warning letters to two manufacturers of breast implants for failing to comply with regulatory requirements. The FDA sent a warning letter to Allergan for failure to comply with requirements to conduct post-approval studies assessing the risks and long-term safety of two separate breast implant models. Both breast implant models were voluntarily recalled last year. The FDA also sent a warning letter to Ideal Implant Incorporated. That letter was sent for failing to comply with adverse event reporting requirements and current good manufacturing practice requirements. The letter was prompted by an inspection which was conducted earlier in 2020.
