Man Killed in Crash at 5 Freeway and Laval Road


Police Chase Leads to Fatal Arvin Accident

Arvin, CA (September 14, 2020) – A man was killed in a crash following a police chase in Arvin. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of September 14 on the 5 Freeway at Laval Road.

A sheriff’s deputy was trying to stop a speeding Mercedes. The driver failed to stop and fled the area. The driver then lost control on the 5 Freeway at Laval Road. The Mercedes rolled over multiple times. The driver was ejected from the vehicle and died at the accident scene.
