Police Looking for Woman Who Caused Fatal Los Angeles Accident

Los Angeles, CA (July 18, 2019) – A man was killed in a hit and run crash in Los Angeles. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of July 18 at Imperial Highway and Central Avenue.

A Mercedes SUV hit a power pole on Imperial Highway at Central Avenue. The SUV rolled, ejecting a male passenger. He died at the accident scene. 

The female driver received help from a Good Samaritan and then fled the accident scene. Police are still looking for her.

When the SUV hit the power pole, 2,000 customers lost power for about an hour. Speed contributed to the crash.
