Man Killed in Crash at Main Street and Placentia Lane


Failure to Yield Right of Way Causes Fatal Riverside Accident

Riverside, CA (April 28, 2020) – A man was killed in a crash in Riverside. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of April 28 at Main Street and Placentia Lane.

A Toyota Camry was traveling north on Main Street when a Toyota Tacoma was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection. Both vehicles then entered the intersection at the same time. The Tacoma failed to yield the right of the way, causing both vehicles to collide.

The driver of the Camry, a 78-year-old Riverside man, suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The driver of the Tacoma, a 21-year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and was treated at the accident scene.
