Rear-End Accident in Thousand Palms Causes Fatality

Thousand Palms, CA (September 10, 2019) – A man was killed when he rear-ended a semi truck in Thousand Palms. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of September 10 on Ramon Road.

A 56-year-old Yucca Valley man was heading west on Ramon Road, near Robert Road. He was speeding when he made an unsafe turn and rear-ended an International tractor-trailer parked on the right shoulder. The man was killed in the crash.

The driver of the big rig was asleep in the sleeper compartment at the time of the crash. He was not injured.
