El Portal, CA (December 1, 2019) – A man was killed after losing control of his SUV in El Portal. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of December 1 on Highway 140.

A man was driving a Chevrolet SUV on Highway 140, near Crane Creek Road, when he lost control of the vehicle. The man’s SUV went off the roadway near Yosemite National Park. The Chevrolet went down a steep embankment and came to a rest upside down in the Merced River. The man was ejected from the vehicle. Search and rescue crews found the man dead at the accident scene.
