Victim Hit While Crossing Highway in Fatal Vallejo Accident

Vallejo, CA (November 10, 2019) – A man was killed while walking across a highway in Vallejo. The fatal accident occurred just after midnight on November 10 on Highway 37.

A 29-year-old Vallejo man was heading west on Highway 37 near Fairgrounds Drive in a Nissan Altima. It crashed into a wall and stopped in the center divider.

The man exited his crashed car and walked across the lanes to wait on the right shoulder. He then went back toward his car and was hit by a Jeep Commander. He died at the accident scene.

The crash caused a Honda Civic to swerve to the right and hit a wall, then the Jeep. The driver of the Honda was hospitalized with minor injuries. The driver of the Jeep was not injured.
