Man Killed in Crash on Highway 80 Near Potrero Avenue


Vehicle Hits Center Divider in Fatal Richmond Accident

Richmond, CA (September 16, 2020) – A man was killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Richmond. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of September 16 on Highway 80.

A vehicle was traveling in the westbound lanes of Highway 80, near Potrero Avenue, when it crashed into the center divider. The driver, an unidentified man, was killed in the crash. However, it is unknown if the driver died from their injuries or from intoxication. The passenger told police that he and the driver were snorting cocaine before the crash.
