Police Looking for Suspect in Fatal Hit and Run Accident in Riverside

Riverside, CA (August 19, 2019) – A man was killed in a hit and run crash in Riverside. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of August 19 on Indiana Avenue.

A 19-year-old Riverside man was crossing Indiana Avenue, near Jackson Street, when he was hit by a vehicle. The man was found lying in the road with serious injuries. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

The driver fled the accident scene. Witnesses described the suspect vehicle as a newer model dark blue or black Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla.
