Man Killed in Crash on Interstate 80 Near Gilman Street


Vehicle Loses Control in Fatal Berkeley Accident

Berkeley, CA (August 19, 2020) – A man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Berkeley. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of August 19 on Interstate 80.

A Toyota Tercel was speeding on eastbound Interstate 80, near Gilman Street. The Toyota changed lanes and hit a Lexus IS 350. The Toyota then hit the center divider and slammed into a Ford Ranger pickup truck.

Emergency crews found a man inside the Toyota. He died at the accident scene.
