Man Killed in Crash on McDowell Boulevard


James Watkins Arrested for DUI in Fatal Petaluma Accident

Petaluma, CA (September 22, 2020) – A man was killed in a DUI crash in Petaluma. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of September 22 on McDowell Boulevard.

A 53-year-old man was hit by a Toyota Prius while standing on a sidewalk on McDowell Boulevard. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died. The driver of the Prius, James Watkins, 41, of Cotati, was arrested for felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
