Vehicle Hits Several Trees in Fatal Shafter Accident

Shafter, CA (December 6, 2020) – A man was killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Shafter. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of December 6 on Poplar Avenue.

A 31-year-old Shafter man was speeding in a Honda on Poplar Avenue, near Merced Avenue. He lost control and went off the road, hitting several trees in an orchard. The man was found dead inside the Honda. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
