Man Killed in Crash on State Route 36 Near Stice Road


Car Hits Embankment in Fatal Red Bluff Accident

Red Bluff, CA (June 2, 2020) – A man was killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Red Bluff. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of June 2 on State Route 36.

Kenneth Fischer, 26, of Nevada, was driving a Ford Ranger on westbound State Route 36, near Stice Road, when he lost control. The truck spun, crossed the highway and hit an embankment. The Ford then overturned. 

The passenger, a 40-year-old man from Illinois, was ejected from the truck. He died from his injuries. Fischer was arrested for DUI and taken to a local hospital to be treated for major injuries.
