Driver Loses Control in Fatal Lakeside Accident

Lakeside, CA (March 17, 2020) – A man was killed in a crash in Lakeside. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of March 17 on State Route 67.

A 45-year-old man from Spring Valley was driving his Ford Explorer on northbound State Route 67, near Foster Truck Trail. For unknown reasons, the man lost control and veered off the road. The Ford went airborne and overturned down an embankment. The Ford then hit a large boulder before coming to a rest. The driver died at the accident scene.
