Man Killed in Crash on West Elverta Road

1 Killed in Crash on Interstate 805 Near Market Street

Rio Linda, CA (November 25, 2020) – A man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Rio Linda. The fatal accident occurred on the afternoon of November 25 on West Elverta Road.

A crash took place on West Elverta Road. A Hyundai Sonata, driven by a 41-year-old Woodland man, was involved in a crash with two motorcycles. One was a Yamaha Sportster driven by a 64-year-old Sacramento woman, while the other was a Harley-Davidson Street Glide driven by a 51-year-old Roseville man.

The Hyundai drove into oncoming traffic. It hit the side of Yamaha and then collided head-on with the Harley-Davidson. The Roseville man died at the accident scene. The Sacramento woman was injured and taken to a local hospital.
