Victim Was Intoxicated at Time of Fatal Fair Oaks Accident

Fair Oaks, CA (January 24, 2020) – A man was killed in a hit and run crash in Fair Oaks. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of January 24 on Fair Oaks Boulevard.

A 27-year-old man from Sacramento was hit by a car in the westbound lane of Fair Oaks Boulevard, near New York Avenue. He was found lying down in the street when emergency crews arrived. He died at the accident scene.

The vehicle that hit the man fled the scene. The vehicle is described as a dark-colored sedan. The victim was intoxicated at the time of the crash and was asked to leave Players Pub due to his behavior.
