Sacramento, CA (February 2, 2020) – A motorcyclist was killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Sacramento. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of February 2 on Business 80.

A 58-year-old man from Sacramento was riding his Harley-Davidson on southbound Business 80, near Marconi Avenue. He was speeding when he lost control and hit a guard rail. The man was ejected from the motorcycle. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
