Victim Hit by Car in Fatal Huntington Beach Accident 

Pedestrian Fatality

Huntington Beach, CA (November 26, 2019) – A man was hit by a car and killed in Huntington Beach. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of November 26 on Goldenwest Street.

A pedestrian was crossing the street when he was hit by a car outside of a crosswalk. The male victim died at the accident scene. The driver remained at the scene.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
