Driver Injured in Fatal Morongo Valley Accident

Pedestrian Fatality

Morongo Valley, CA (November 9, 2019) – A man was killed when he was hit by a car in Morongo Valley. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of November 9 at Highway 62 and Lanning Lane.

A 63-year-old woman was driving a Toyota Avalon XL east on Highway 62, at Lanning Lane, when she hit a man who was crossing the highway. The man, in his 60s, was on his way home when he was hit. The man died at the accident scene. The driver was taken to a local hospital with injuries to her face, chest and shoulders.

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months.
