Man Killed in Train Crash at Manning Avenue and Golden State Boulevard


Victim Had Shot, Killed 2 People Moments Before Fatal Fowler Accident

Fowler, CA (June 13, 2020) – A man was killed in a train crash in Fowler, just moments after he shot and killed two people. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of June 13 at Manning Avenue and Golden State Boulevard.

Fowler Police got a call about a shooting in a home. They arrived and found two people dead – a 16-year-old boy and a man in his 40s. Witnesses saw the shooting and knew the suspect.

Police found the suspect – a man in his 20s – in Reedley and he fled, driving back into Fowler. A few moments later, he crashed into a train at Manning Avenue and Golden State Boulevard. He died in the crash.
