Novato, CA (December 19, 2019) – A man was killed when he was hit by a SMART train in Novato. The fatal accident occurred on the evening of December 19 on Grant Avenue.

A 71-year-old man from Novato was walking alone on the tracks in the 800 block of Grant Avenue. He was hit by a northbound Sonoma-Marin-Area Rail Transit train for unknown reasons. The man died from blunt traumatic injuries.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months.
