Man Crashes Into Parked Car in Fatal Fresno Accident

Fresno, CA (December 9, 2019) – One person was killed and another was injured in a crash in Fresno. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of December 9 on Clinton Avenue.

A man was speeding on Clinton Avenue when he suddenly drifted into the eastbound lane and hit a parked car. The driver was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.  His passenger, Suzanne Gagain, 52, was hospitalized with moderate to major injuries.

E-Cigarette Use Linked To ‘Cobalt Lung’

A case study published in the European Respiratory Journal in December 2019 described a 49-year-old in California who developed hard-metal pneumoconiosis after using e-cigarettes for only six months. The disease is also known as “cobalt lung.” The National Institutes of Health describes the disease as a “rare but serious disease of the lungs associated with inhalational exposure to tungsten or cobalt dust.”
