City Employee Crashes Into Tree in Fatal Modesto Accident

Modesto, CA (December 2, 2019) – A man was killed when he crashed a garbage truck into a tree in Modesto. The fatal accident occurred on December 2 on Finch Road.

The garbage truck was carrying tree debris as it traveled westbound on Finch Road, near South McClure Road. The truck suddenly left the road, hit a fence and then crashed into a large tree. The driver was killed in the crash. It is believed that the driver was a 52-year-old local man who was a Modesto city employee.
