Matthew Cossey Killed in Crash on Highway 101 Near Nave Drive


Driver Loses Control in Fatal Novato Accident 

Novato, CA (March 15, 2020) – A man was killed in a solo-vehicle crash in Novato. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of March 15 on Highway 101. 

Matthew Cossey, 35, of Cotati, was traveling in a Chevrolet pickup truck on northbound Highway 101, near Nave Drive. The driver lost control on the wet road, causing the pickup truck to overturn and land on its roof.

Cossey was ejected. He landed on the right shoulder Highway 101. Cossey died in the crash. He was not wearing a seat belt.
