Los Angeles, CA (August 24, 2019) – A USC student was killed after he was hit by two vehicles in Los Angeles. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of August 24 on the 110 Freeway. 

An 18-year-old man was running in the HOV lanes of the southbound 110 Freeway at Martin Luther King Boulevard. The man, identified as 18-year-old Matthew Olson, was first hit by a Toyota CHR driven by a Redondo Beach man. The driver stopped to help the man. A second vehicle then hit Olson while he was lying in one of the lanes. The driver did not stop. Olson died at the accident scene.
