Car Hits Pole in Fatal Hacienda Heights Accident

Hacienda Heights, CA (June 30, 2020) – One person was killed in a crash in Hacienda Heights. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of June 30 at Annellen Street and Stimson Avenue.

A Chevrolet Tahoe crashed into a pole at the intersection. The crash left the driver and passenger trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters rescued the two people, but the driver – identified as Whittier resident Matthew Paul Garcia, 29 – died at the accident scene.  The passenger – a Hacienda Heights man in his 20s – suffered moderate injuries
