Big Rig Driver Flees Scene in Fatal San Francisco Accident

San Francisco, CA (July 18, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit and run crash in San Francisco. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of July 18 at 5th and Market streets.

A pedestrian was hit at the intersection by a tractor-trailer. The driver fled the accident scene. The victim, identified as San Francisco resident Michael Evans, 54, was taken to a local hospital, where they later died. Police later found the tractor-trailer and detained the driver.
