Clearlake Oaks, CA (April 12, 2020) – A truck driver was injured in a crash while on a route for Steve Will’s Trucking & Logging. The accident occurred on the afternoon of April 12 in Clearlake Oaks.

Fortuna resident Michael Weschke, 38, was driving a Kenworth and towing a tank trailer on westbound Highway 20, near Harvey Boulevard. He was on his route working for Steve Will’s Trucking & Logging, police said.

The truck overturned and the trailer disconnected. The trailer, which contained 6,000 gallons of milk, went into Clear Lake. Weschke suffered major injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital.
