Joshua Parker Arrested for DUI in Fatal Fresno Accident

Fresno, CA (August 17, 2019) – A woman was killed in a DUI crash in Fresno. The fatal accident occurred on the morning of August 17 on Belmont Avenue.

Joshua Parker, 34, was driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer east on Belmont Avenue near Barton Avenue when he crashed into a parked car, a pile of wooden pallets and a parked truck trailer. A passenger, 22-year-old Mina Serrano, was killed on impact.

Witnesses tried to free the other occupants, including a 2-year-old boy. Parker was able to exit the vehicle. He suffered head injuries.

Parker was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail for multiple charges, including DUI causing injury or death, gross vehicular manslaughter, driving with a suspended or revoked license and child endangerment.
